# Factory

Hitmakr's song storage benefits from SKALE's interoperability with Ethereum. This ensures compatibility with Ethereum-based standards, facilitating seamless integration with the broader blockchain ecosystem. To guarantee robust file availability, $HMKR Nodes will offer a staking-driven incentive system, encouraging users to host network content.

$HMKR nodes will host decentralized databases that store and manage the intricate details of each audio file, built on IPFS. This ensures the immutability and transparency of the metadata, creating a comprehensive and secure record of every piece of audio within the Hitmakr ecosystem.

The base NFT certificate then serves as a digital key, granting permission for artists to explore the creation of derivative works. Once the original artist provides consent, collaborators can build upon the foundation of the original audio file, ushering in a new era of collective creativity.

Hitmakr's decentralized infrastructure promotes transparent attribution for derivative works. Each contributor, from the original artist to collaborators on subsequent iterations, is acknowledged and recorded in the ledgers. This transparency fosters a culture of recognition and respect within the Hitmakr community, while effectively distributing royalties.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hitmakr.gitbook.io/hitmakr-whitepaper/ecosystem-overview/factory.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
